If you have a retirement account (IRA or ROTH) and have taken distributions in 2016, you can expect to receive your 1099R from T.D. Ameritrade by the end of January.
And, if you have a non-retirement account (individual, joint or trust) that has generated more than $10 in dividends & interest, then you will receive a consolidated 1099 from T.D. Ameritrade by the end of February. It is normal to receive “revised 1099’s” over the next few months that will reflect a few minor changes.
